FAITH TALK

"Positive confession" has been given a bad rap. The truth is that people in all sorts of fields from psychologists, to business executives, to football coaches utilize principles of positive thinking, acting, and talking. If you can see yourself making that sale, making that touchdown, playing all those music notes correctly, then you've already won an important territory of the battle: The mind.

I can't promise that words will change your life overnight. I can't guarantee that if you read the following list out loud when you wake up in the morning that bald spot will be filled in, there will be a new Porche in the driveway, and it will be filled with bags of cash. However, if this does happen to you, remember to contribute generously to a ministry. Did I mention, I'm a pastor?

I can't promise words will change your life overnight, but they will ultimately change your life! I challenge you to start reading this list, first thing each day, for a month. See if you start to get a new perspective on things. See if your view of yourself, and the God who has declared these things over you begins to change. So without further ado...

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for
building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
